Random Picture Monday
So after a week of more Sims playing than I have in months my vacation is over and it's back to work today. In honor of Island Paradise I present the Salty Dog Amusement Pier in scenic Barnacle Bay!

Sims Random Musings 7-6-2013
One day not too long ago I'm listening to the radio, because I'm old school like that and this song comes on which is what happens sometimes on the radio. It sounded familiar but I wasn't sure why.
Where do I know this song from?
Then I realized it was from The Sims. Have to say that I never thought I'd find new songs to like from a video game. Though, video games really do have great music and The Sims has been using real songs in their games for a long time.
But it really is odd to come across something in my daily life and know I've seen or heard it before but can't quite place where or why. It's just so freaky when I realize it's from The Sims.
This also makes me realize that I haven't played enough lately. Hopefully this week will change that. I'm VA-CAY!!! HOLLLAAAA!!! Isla Paradiso here I come!

Happy 4th of July!
Or Happy Wednesday to everyone outside the USA!
On this holiday be sure to follow
safety precautions when setting off fireworks!
Yeah, this one is pretty lame by my standards but sadly I didn't have much time to put something super spectacular together.

Real People DO Win!!!
So last week or so I threw my name into the running for a random giveaway from The Sims 3 on Twitter and...I WON!!!!!
Exhibit 1: Note the third name. Sim Acres. That is me.
Exhibit 2: Actual photo taken with my own camera in my own home.
I now own these things and they are in my possession.
Exhibit 3: Badge I just made to show off my winning.
As a real person and a proud Simmer, I can actually say that in fact, yes, real people do win things from The Sims! So go ahead and enter and you just may be a real winner too!

Happy Father's Day!
Salute to Dads!
For making sure we were at least in the right room for sleeping.
Just for knowing that boy was trouble before we did.
For giving us the appreciation of good music
before we knew what good music was.
And just for being one half of the pair
responsible for bringing us into the world
(and the house)!
