Happy Earth Day!

Yeah, I got nothing but I truly think this picture says plenty without saying anything at all.

Random Sims Musings 4-16-13

So just got finished watching The Sims 3 live broadcast and besides it finishing before the promised time it was chock full of informative and exciting stuff!

I am loving Island Paradise!  Can't wait to get it and start playing around with the resorts.  Yeah, this one is pretty much my dream expansion pack.  Oh yeah, gonna make my own little island house and make it my happy place.

Then there is the new stuff pack full of movie stuff.  Not sure about this one but I will buy it because I believe that was part of the agreement when I gave myself completely over to the Sims franchise those many years ago.  I can always find places to use the objects, so I'm sure it'll be great.

The new world also looks pretty good.  I'm not sure if I'll get this Dragon Valley probably have to wait for a sale  I liked The Sims Medieval but kinda wished it was a little more open ended like Sims 3.  Maybe one day I'll actually finish it or not.

Then there was the announcement that The Sims Social is closing up on Facebook.  I tried playing it and it was fine in the beginning.  Then the quests got nearly impossible to do without having lots of time and lots of friends.  Look it's called a GAME for a reason I don't want it to feel like work.  And for the people who paid cold, hard, cash money for things in this game...oh well.  It's not personal, it's just business.  There will always be another game.  Think of the episode of Family Guy where Peter starts his Fonz religion and looses all his followers for other ones.

And that concludes this edition of Random Sims Musings!

Happy Tax Day!

Today is the last day to file those taxes!  Vitally important for many vital services that people use to be vital!

Such as...
Education

Police

Fire Protection

Military

And other just as vital services for the vital good and need of the people.  And if it's determined that the citizens don't like how their hard earned tax dollars are being spent...

they protest!

So be sure to file your taxes!  They are vitally vital for the good of all citizens!  And if you don't, well, they'll find ya anyway.
