Happy Birthday to The Sims!

Yes, 14 years ago on this day The Sims was released.  Now I really had planned on something epic.  And I still may do something (especially since The Sims themselves are celebrating all month).  So for now this is like realizing you have a surprise party to go to in 15 minutes and you live 20 minutes away and you're stopping at the drug store and just buying the first card and thing you see.

Throwback Thursday!  I guess that's supposed to mean something but whatevs. Leisure Suit Larry found his way (along with his buddys Duke Nukem and Joanna Dark, star of Perfect Dark) to Sunset Valley and here he is out on the town.

 At a disco, of course.

And on a date with woman he met online.  Asking her for her sign, of course.

Here's the happy family at home playing video games, of course.

Might do more with these crazy kids because they've been pretty fun to play.  Especially since I've also located them in Lucky Palms.
